Location :New Jersey
Installation,Migration 7.x & Upgradation of Legato Networker on Linux,Unix,HP-UX,AIX,Solaris and Windows Machines.
Configuration of clients file system , database and BCV backups.
Upgradation of Legato Networker
Managing Devices and Storage Nodes.
Adding new storage Nodes.
Creating Policies,Pools,Groups & Schedules.
Error handling and troubleshooting
Error handling failures backup jobs
Experience on Tape Library (ADIC Scalar i2000- Tape Library w/ LTO4) and Quantum Dxi
Ticketing System used Remedy
Troubleshooting issues related NMC (Networker Management Console).
Basic Knowledge on Symmetrix ,clarion and Netapp
Knowledge about the Autosys Tool
Knowledge about the restoration of the OS , Database (Oracle , SQL, Informix )and BCV backups.
BCV, Cluster & Informix backup Configuration
Library configuration (library partition, shared drives)
Good understanding of Licensing
Preparing Day to Day reports for backup failures to minimize the counts
Media Managements (Pool, Retention policy, Schedule, Index size, sending tapes to offsite)
Configuration of NDMP backups
Lun Management, Monitoring and Replication using FilerView or Command Line and knowledge about the HOT DR testing.
LUN allocation on Unisys servers.
NFS/ CIFS/ ISCSI, quota management experience on netapp filer.
Working knowledge of Enterprise-class Fiber Switch/Director Hardware from Cisco required
Hands-on Experience with Powerpath Multipathing
Good Exposure on troubleshooting and Replication Strategies (ECC, SRDF, Timefinder)
Strong Storage concepts on LUN mapping/creation, F/C Switch Configs , BCV configuration
Unix and/or Windows systems administration experience
File System and Database Familiarity
Perform all chargeback estimation, provisioning, and documentation tasks in a timely manner
Data center hands on experience on EMC and Netapp product and knowledge for making the RCA and PLAN’s for the upcoming projects
Ability to work independently without supervision
Should have minimum 9 – 10 years overall IT Experience
